Dean of the Theological School, the Revd Dr Dorothy Lee, 91ÖÆƬ³§¹ú²úAV Chaplain, the Revd Dr Andreas Loewe, and Morna Sturrock Doctoral Fellow, Meg Warner, presented to one of the largest international gatherings of biblical scholars who came together to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible.

Dorothy said participating in the Society of Biblical Literature’s Annual Meeting placed Trinity’s Theological School in the international world of scholarship.

‘Contributing to an internationally recognised conference promotes Trinity as a place of world-class learning and raises our international profile,’ Dorothy said.

‘Based on our alignment with other international biblical scholars, it provides a great attraction for students to come and study with us.

‘We not only presented the School’s research and ideas, but were also stimulated and revived for our own work and teachings here at Trinity.’

Additionally, in August, Dr David Gormley O'Brien and 91ÖÆƬ³§¹ú²úAV Warden, Associate Professor Andrew McGowan, presented at the International Patristics Conference at Oxford.
